What renewable claims can we make by participating in community solar?

By participating in community solar, your organization will have to opportunity to receive Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), which are numerical indicators of your organization’s commitment to cleaner energy and a better environmental future.

However, under most community solar agreements, your organization may not be able to make such environmental claims. We advise you to look in your Sunscription Agreement for your organization’s permissions.
