I'm interested in community solar. How do I start the sign up process?
Maybe you heard about community solar from a neighbor or friend, or maybe you have done your research on your utility’s website and you want to take advantage of their awesome community solar program. Great! But, now what? How do you initiate the process and start taking the steps towards becoming a subscriber with US Solar and helping to drive more local renewable energy?
We're glad you asked! Starting the process is easy.
- Start by going to us-solar.com/signup
- Then, provide us with some information about yourself and your utility. If we have open subscriptions available, or if we will have open subscriptions available in the near future, we will ask you to share some details from your electric bill. Make sure that if someone referred you, you mention them when you are submitting this information so they can get their referral bonus!
- Once we have this information, we will be able to provide you with a subscription agreement that lays out all of the details regarding what it means to be a subscriber. Once you get to this point, our team will be in touch to help you navigate through the process.
