Why am I receiving two Sunscription statements in one month?
The billing for community solar subscriptions is unique to each electric utility and subscriber's program and billing cycle. Our statements are calculated based on the official energy and bill credit data that your utility publishes. We cannot bill you until your utility reports how much energy - and how many Solar Credits- your Solar Garden has generated.
Some utilities report energy production on a calendar month basis, while some utilities report production during the period overlapping your individual electric billing cycle. Some utilities wait for all residential customer billing cycles to conclude before reporting solar energy generation to US Solar for any residential customers. For those reasons, unfortunately, there is no hard and fast rule as to when credits are posted to your account.
Your statement cycle with Sunscription is also dependent on when your utility publishes the official energy production data. If there is a delay in the energy data being published on any given month, you can also expect a delay in receiving a statement from us. If your utility publishes energy production data late one month and on time the next month, those two US Solar billing dates may be very close to one another.
We work very closely with your utility to ensure that statements and credits are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
